"It’s funny that throughout our lives we’ll meet people that we’ll swear up and down will be important to us for the rest of our lives. We say that you will never love anyone more than you loved them, or that no one will ever be as important. But things go wrong, you lose each other, and then for some reason or another you never think of them again. Maybe once every few weeks. You think about how at one point that person was your entire world and now you never give them another thought. It’s just funny how much we dwell on people and assume that in a few months, few years, they’ll be just as important. Most of the time you never even give them a thought once you lose each other."
